We've had these little mice 'living' in clogs in a corner of the hall for many years. When the Christmas decorations are going up I add some tinsel and ivy and have enjoyed the little scene.
The clogs were a gift from one of 'our Dutch girls'....we had three staying with us back in the 90s, each came for three months to extend their English for business skills at the hospital in Aberdeen. We did enjoy the experience and still keep in touch with the third one and her family.
But this year Ramona (no 2) found us on Facebook and so we're back in touch again. It's lovely that we have always remembered her time with us, noticing the clogs in the hall. Perhaps she will come and visit some time with her three sons!
Three good things
1. All tidied up in the lounge with the tree and all its decorations in place.
2. Christmas music playing loudly.
3. Masterchef final stages are amazing.
