It's a year ago that my dear Mum passed away and even though we share her great faith in God there's still such an empty space at day to day level.
And just when I was feeling flat and a bit at a loose end the florist delivery van appeared in the drive.
Gorgeous bouquet from daughters,
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Aren't they delightful.
Three good things
1. No rushing around morning.
2. A good walk to the shop and catch up chats on the way.
3. Zoom chat with the siblings!! Still sharing chat and info is very good.
How thoughtful of your girls. It's 10 years since I lost my mum and I still think of her every day. However, the sadness does go with time. I used to not be able to drive past Braemar Castle without becoming tearful. I now drive past and think about a good moment with mum, not about the fact that she is no longer with us. By the way, I don't know if you got my mobile number in a previous post? It would be nice to meet for a coffee one day.
@sarah19 Yes ... please ... even if just to send an initial text and then we can contact each other easily if a 'free' day appears on our calendars! :-)
Thinking of you, the first anniversary of my fathers death has just past too.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments
Especially today!
