This is my retirement rose bush and it seems to like the flower bed under the sitting room window. Lots of buds still to open.
A strange kind of day. Late start and then very busy in the garden. Cutting back lots of tall plants - it will look quite tidy when I'm finished.
Three good things
1. A very friendly robin was up close and personal!!! I don't think I have ever seen one right beside me.....had a good chat 😄😄
2. Quite a lot of 🐞 too.
3. Allan checked the tyres on my car and cleared the warning light 😄. The handbooks can be very technical and I'm not very confident. Easy when you know how!!!!
I have a rhododendron under my window too and it has produced the first flowers - likes it there - sheltered from the wind, I suppose. Gorgeous colour - the sun shines in your small corner!
