So it's been a mixed up kind of day. I didn't waken at my usual time and had lots of hot drinks to ward off the hint of sore throat. But it was a beautiful day and I had a lovely walk and catch up with a great friend.
A 'hunt' for the keyboard....in the spare room wardrobe!!!....and lots of other things were found, including this lovely photo.
I'd not seen it until we were tidying up at the family home after Grannie passed away. Now I'm wondering if I shared it before but it's worth sharing.... they were lovely people and I wish it had been possible to get to know them more.
Three good things
1. Lots to go to the recycling centre/dump!!!
2. Big vacuum session (before the service man came) and rearranged the furniture in the lounge....I love it!!!
3. The big Poppy Jigsaw is back on the dining room table.....hmmm will I ever get it finished? Perhaps I could have a Jigsaw Party.....
I love this portrait, a beautiful family treasure. I have friends who gave their cat to friends because he jumped on the jigsaw table and scattered the pieces, many times. 😊

It is a very special photo so I must find a frame for it. They were married on 31st December as that was a holiday in Scotland at the time....and a very small wedding too. But they had over sixty years together. 😊
