a row or two more

Dad has been getting on very nicely with his garden with all the sunshine - wondering if it really is too early to have planted some 'tatties' but time will tell!!
The Forsythia in the Cromartie Gardens border is lovely and the buds are coming on the copper beech.
I do love this place!

Interestingly Forsyth after whom Forsythia is named was born in Oldmeldrum!

What a beautiful shot - great composition and framing. Traditionally the first early potatoes are planted on Good Friday, but as this date moves every year, I can never understand the logic of this plan.

Beechgrove said it was still too early (according to my Mother-in-law) to plant tatties but this weather has made it tempting to get them in! Great to see your Dad still active in the garden.

What a neat patch of dug-over land. Your Dad's an inspiration to the rest of us.
