Had a lovely evening at Pitmedden Gardens last night when Illyria were performing HMS Pinafore! It was hilarious and very entertaining indeed!There must have been around 500 folk there - best audience we'd ever seen and quite nice temperature for sitting in open air!
The gardens were open an hour before the show began and people bring food/refreshments/feasts! We'd had our meal before we went -not far to travel! - but there was a grand picnic table beside us complete with tablecloth, candle and grand assortment of food and wine!!!! We enjoyed a little wine/ beer, crisps, etc +tea and shortbread!
If you get the chance to see them where you are we'd recommend it!!!

That looks like lots of fun! My son's sister-in-law used to belong to a theater group that did G & S performances too. We'd really get laughing as she practiced her lines on us. Nice collage!
