Since today was the last day of mom & tot I picked up some small packs of chalk and eldest and I decorated little black gift bags to look like chalk drawings. (Don't look too closely, the first sailboat I did might be capsizing...) I'm a little sad that we're not going to see these friends again - the program was quite a drive from our house and everyone came from even further afield, so it's unlikely we'll ever really run into them anywhere - different school districts, different libraries, different groceries... It was just in the past month or two that Matthew really started taking an interest in when mom & tot was and when he was going to see his friends again. Hopefully this means he's "ready" (ish) for preschool in the fall and new friends!
