Wonder what she is thinking about me? by sarasdadandmom

Wonder what she is thinking about me?

I did not want to take this shot, because for some reason it made me sad. I took it and went up and gave her some money for imposing. Many kids will hold out there hand for money when you take their pictures, but she just sat there.
This is a great capture!! I get what you mean though

this is sad, but you captured it well.

Her face says that! That's so lovely to share with us and gives us an eye into other lives!

She does look depressed and tired....that is kind of sad. Iis that a huge hound dog in the background....

This is a powerful shot Terry .... the feeling does come through. Good on you for offering some money x
July 10th, 2012
This shot appears to be right out of some Bible story for me, Terry! It's lovely and I'm glad you gave her a little money.
July 10th, 2012
She may be afraid of the camera or you. I just see a bit of fear and uncertainty there. Maybe even shame for her state of poverty (?)- but you were respectful and polite after you took the picture. I'm sure your kindness was appreciated.

She does look sad, and i'm sure she appeciated the money you gave her.

I'm not sure she is sad...curious maybe..it is a great photo, I love the sheep in the background
July 10th, 2012
The look is what gets you, just trying to imagine what it must be like in their shoes.
July 10th, 2012
Wow, powerful photo.
July 10th, 2012
Great candid moment.
July 10th, 2012
Beautiful, candid shot of this young girl in her world. Love the sheep and the rest of the background, too.
July 10th, 2012
My guess is that she's trying to size you up as friend or foe...to run or not to run. I'm seeing a bit of apprehension on her face. I'm sure you put any concern she might have had to rest with your friendly nature, Terry. Marvelous shot of this young girl with her sheep.

Gorgeous oortrait, Terry. She looks unhappy not like the children in previous pictures.
