Power in the fog

One minute these big fans were shrouded in fog, then it lifted.

people often have a mixed feeling about these thingies. i kind of like them, especially when there's so many. it's like we're being invaded by aliens and they found out they can't fight our gravity so they got stuck and can't move and then we start to use them as wind mills. that's my story.

I think these are the stuff of children stories, there is one here somewhere; grey use of the light

Beautiful capture of them, Terry. If they weren't so useful I would say they are a blemish on the beautiful countryside. Our government came out with the idea of building a wind farm in our territorial waters. The idea wasn't pleasing to most of us.

@sangwann The idea is not popular here either and there was fierce resistance to it.

I don't mind the windmills when they are like this. Hate them when they rip off the top of a mountain to make it flat for them. But, I love @summerfield 's explanation! LOL!
