So sharp and detailed. I'm literally staring at a blue heron that's basking in the evening sky with its legs in the ocean. I'm contemplating getting off my butt and trying to get a shot but I'm feeling rather lazy at the moment.
Beautiful, stately bird. Yes, and they are not welcome in this neighborhood. They have flown in from our nearby San Diego Zoo's Safari Park and feasted on all the koi in the ponds in peoples back yards. They have all put wire over their ponds not..... after replenishing the area with more fish.
