Almost every Sunday I drive about 45 minutes to bring my 90-year-old mother over to our house for dinner and to be with the family. She especially enjoys seeing the great grandchildren.
Tonight I was also rewarded with a spectacular sky on the drive home after some late day thunderstorms.
Beautiful view.l I bet your mother looks forward to Sundays. My mother lived in an assisted living facility the last three years or so -- two hours north of us. She so looked forward to the days we visited and took her out to dinner or brought her down to our home for a several day stay with us.
That's so nice that your mum can be wight he family for a meal each week. A lovely image. We had my 91 year old mum here for lunch today with a few relos, so she too could enjoy grandkids and great grandies that were visiting.
