@trm Painting with light. No torch used. This is a lamp/light generating these lightning sort of beams/rays. English not my home language, This is the best I can describe the photo with the dictionary next to me. Thanks for the comment.
@sdutoit thank you for replying. Glad to know english is not your main language. English is the only language I know. Night painting for me can be like playing in water. Here one minute and gone in a splash. Thanks again.
Ohhh, this reminds me ... I've got one of these somewhere.
Sylvia, you can also try playing with torch light on a single subject, shining on bits and moving to others, like highlighting.
I really love the way you try all these challenges. Ek het net vandag vir hubby gese hoe fabulous jy is met al die challenges en wat jy alles probeer. Ek het simply nie die courage nie ;(
@kwiksilver Thanks. Trying and failing and keep trying...taking photos keeps me upright now. Staying at home after working my whole live is quite different. I do have time for other things but hubby with his illness is a full time job. You do have to get your mind set on other things. I must start getting my mind on things my age. But difficult. While working, 4 children in the lower grades I did study at the Technikon at night. Received my diploma at 42!!! Ha ha luckily not the oldest person to do so. I believe in doing extra things to keep your mind healthy.
@trm Ha ha still wanted to say. We do have 11 official languages in South Africa. Speaking English most common. Most of the time you do not know what the conversation is about, when other people speak to each other.
There are eleven official languages of South Africa: Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Sotho, Swazi, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa and Zulu. Fewer than two percent of South Africans speak a first language other than an official one. Most South Africans can speak more than one language. (English and the like us Afrikaans) My 2 girls use to have Sotho as a subject at school. When they did not want me to hear what they were saying, the joked and they spoke Sotho! I know a few word but not enough to help myself.
