Had another assignment of my pet in action. Well this was the closest I could get to action. To near he got hold of my lenses. To far the background was cluttered, because this was taken in my kitchen. At least I tried.
The never work along! We had one in the pet shop. The old dude didn't do much anymore besides sitting and sleeping until you got close... Past away a few weeks back.

@pdulis .... and so it is my hope to inspire others to appreciate God's creation through the eye of a lens. This is so true. I discovered this fact after I nearly lost my eye in a car crash last year.. Thanks for reminding me again!

This is nothing short of amazing, Sylvia. Is he pulling out his own feathers? The bright red is stunning, even more so with all the gray that surrounds it.
@stephanies Thanks. I saw your photos. Beautiful. Yes it is my bird. Very tame and only sleeping in a cage. I really enjoyed the challenge and learned a lot. We had a wind storm with a few drops of rain. We are without electricity since six o clock tonight. I try my best to type here with a lamp! Ha ha I struggle. My daughter in London phoned me now and she said it is raining there at the moment. Enjoy your next challenge.
