wooden memories

My father made this wooden lorry when my son Jaco was still small. On the side you can see how my son tried to color it with crayons. My father passed away in 2004 and my son in 2008 at the age of 28. This the lorry brings a lot of good memories....
Wonderful and so precious - it must bring back so much happy memories tingled with sadness !

This is a treasure and so memorable for you. I am sorry for the loss of your father. I lost my dad, mom and mother in law in 2005...a tough year. But it’s even a greater loss for a son. I only have one child, a son.

Oh Sylvia how hard for you to look at this lovely toy.....special memories of your dad & son & imagining them together again. What a very special lorry that is, so good that it’s your dads work but decorated by your son.

@happypat Thanks Pat. My husband also past away during 2016 and my baby daughter In 1983 at the age of 10 months. One learn to live by memories. My son and daughter lives in the UK. That is why I enjoy pictures of the UK that much.
