Fisherman by seacreature

Fisherman

This was shot a week or two ago, but I only got around to editing it today. I am starting to find I really like playing around with B&W conversions for my portraits. Brings another dimension somehow
Well done, picture and processing. Excellent and easy fav.

This is fabulous Desi! You've got a real gift for portraiture and I remember when you were too nervous to approach people!

@narayani Thanks Narayani. I am still nervous about approaching people, and the experience with the Busker the other day didn't help! I never thought I was any good at people photography. But I am so enjoying the portraiture that I try and quell the colliwobbles to ask strangers if I can take their photo.

@beckyk365 Thanks Becky. It was shot inside a small shed like building where they were sorting and preparing their catch. They salt the fish and hang it up to dry - something that has been happening here for centuries. The end result is called Bokkoms. The bottom part of the background is dark because the wall was painted dark green up to shoulder height, and white above.
