By the end of our 2nd day at TreeTops, much of the snow had melted on the surrounding mountains, but we were treated to a lovely sunset.
PS I don't know how cold it has to be for snow not to melt away in the sunshine, but it was jolly cold there at night although the days were pleasantly warm in the sunshine.
@narayani Thank you. We have been to Treetops many times in the past (although not for quite a few years now), and I always loved evening as the mountains always seemed to turn red even when there were no clouds to create a lovely sky - but I never knew how to capture the huge range in shadows and light in the past.
@s4sayer It was a super day. This is on a small part of a citrus farm, so I spent my day walking around on the farm, visiting the horses I remembered from so many years ago, etc. In fact I struggled to decide whether to use one of the horse photos I really liked, or the sunset for today's shot.
