Playing with dolls

Put Harriet away and got Barbie out the cupboard instead. She is just a cheapie Barbie - end of range mark down from a supermarket, and doesn't bend much - only her arms move back and forward and her legs move forwards. But I decided she might be okay as a patient model for a bit while I try and figure out how to make soft light, and shaping light etc. Still have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but it is quite interesting seeing the effects of changing the angle of the light, moving it back and forward, etc. I don't seem to learn or absorb things as quickly as I feel I should so it hasn't become 2nd nature to me yet.
You come up with some great ideas Desi! And I’m glad I’m not the only one having trouble absorbing information

@lynnz @ludwigsdiana Thank you Lynn and Diana.
@777margo A grown up grand daughter is much better than a Barbie Doll to model for you

@s4sayer Thanks Margo. Did another Barbie shot today with window light, and white card for fill light. Much better than this LED lighting bounced back. But I chose the sunset for today instead....
