The kids flew back to Johannesburg, and I embarked on the 6 hour drive home again (excluding stops) this morning. Another trip filled with memories. I guess Don lives on in my memories and the legacy he has left behind.
I love all the mountains which are so close to many of our roads. That is very daring doing such a long trip on your own, I would not have the guts ;-)
@narayani Thank you. Yes indeed, he will always be with me. It was a long drive. I wouldn't have had the guts if there hadn't been a specific purpose, but I think it has been an important part of the healing journey. I can do it ....
@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. The location seemed so logical at the time of Don's death that I didn't put any thought into how I was going to achieve it - maybe a good thing because if I had over thought it, I probably wouldn't have done it.
