I have started making sugar water again to put in the old bird feeders Don made for me. I need to try and pretty them up a bit, but the birds don't mind. And I need start getting the birds used to me being near, and I need to relearn how to shoot birds - to try and get more natural surroundings than an old decrepit feeder!
How wondeful Desi, you have a Malachite on the left and top and a double collared on the right! Soon they will be their normal nondescript brown. Great shot.
@narayani Thanks Narayani. I have neglected feeding the birds ever since Don died so I thought it would take them a while to find out there was sugar water again. But it was only a matter of minutes before the first one discovered it and then word got out ...
