A busy day at the harbour by seacreature

A busy day at the harbour

with cranes and tractors pulling the nets out. Those fishing nets are unbelievably huge and obviously very heavy that they need crane to lift it out (not shown in this photo) a tractor to spread it. Previously when I have arrived down there when they are mending nets, they have already been spread so I never realised they hadn't been manually pulled out
A lovely scene, industrial yet calming

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you. I did enjoy it. I love that my butcher is at the harbour as that gives me an excuse to go there and buy small quantities of meat often. We are not allowed out for anything except essential shopping so I have to have a reason and a receipt in case I am stopped.

Great shot - and so cool to see a part of the process you (and we) have never seen before.

When I see such clear and positive shots like this, I find it well nigh impossible to see the challenges that lie ahead for us all. Thank you for a shot of life as we know it...in hope that whatever the eventual outcome, we will have the resolve and tenacity required to succeed, together.
