Our normally arid region has burst into bloom. The streets are lined with wildflowers, and the farmlands are covered in patches of flowers. The wonder of nature brings joy to my heart every year.

Unfortunately it is not always easy to plan a good year. Some years are better than others, but in the days before covid many international tourists arrive and take coach tours along the coast to see the flowers. Some areas have acres of red flowers, some predominantly white, and some are mixed orange, white, yellow, etc. @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. Yes indeed it is a lovely season in this dry arid part of the Western Cape. @777margo Thanks Margo
