Last day of driving home and the longest stretch. Unfortunately I was not able to pull over any higher up on my way down this pass as part of the road had been washed away in the recent storms so there was a Stop Go in operation for traffic to use the safe bit of road, and the lay byes were full of construction vehicles
@anniesue Hi Annie Sue. Thanks for asking. Had an incredibly rough few weeks packing up my house in such a rush - packing up and downsizing a large 3 bedroom house with granny cottage out back to just a few rooms is not easy at the best of times, but to try and do it in such a short time was incredibly stressful. Plus I have only one and a half arms as the broken arm still isn't working properly so I had to ask friends to come and help me bubble wrap pictures and mirrors etc. as I wasn't able to do stuff like that. But the move is now complete and I am back in Johannesburg, now trying to unpack my boxes, look after Maddy and generally be there for my family here. My daughter had a double mastectomy while I was away, so my son-in-law has been under tremendous strain trying to hold things together while she can't do anything much. They really do need me so I am glad I am able to be here for them
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
But at least you are there now, doing what you can.
