At the end of our cricket tour we always have an awards and fines (tax collection) night.
This year Ben won awards for being the best on tour and also for bowling the most grenades (unplayable bowling).
Here he is being presented with his award by Sloggin Hood, who along with Friar Duck was one of our tax collectors on tour!!
Needless to say, I was taxed many times over for misdemeanours!!!
Rebecca and I have arranged the last 3 tours, though this year we shared duties and several other parents arranged meals and took over tax collection from us.
We had a wonderful time, and are very lucky to have such a fantastic bunch of friends at Kegworth Town CC.
As a family, we are currently wrestling with the decision of whether to tour or not next year, as the tour will fall directly in teh middle of Sam's GCSE exams.
