Poppy heads still life

Taken on my mantlepiece using off camera flash and a diffuser to eliminate shadow.

Nice viewed large, though not essential.

Today it has not rained. This is good, for 'tis St. Swithun's Day. Folklore would have us fear that should it rain on St Swithun's Day (15th July), it will then rain for the following 40 days and nights.

Very nice! From what I’m hearing on the news leading up to the Olympics, it has done nothing but rain. Maybe some rain on St. Swithun’s Day would have reversed your luck!
