Our kids have had a trampoline in the garden for several years. They regularly tell us it is the best christmas present they ever had. Of late though, it has not been used much, and was taking up a big chunk of garden.
So today, we've had an outdoor table tennis table installed and the trampoline is in bits on the patio. Rebecca and I have just had a very enjoyable and energetic half an hour having a go, and I expect that the boys and their friends will have lots of fun with it.
Ben will have a nice surprise when he returns from Barcelona tomorrow. I can't wait to see him, I have missed him so much.
@rockinrobyn Thanks Robyn, his text messages have suggested that he has had lots of fun, but has missed us all. It will be good to have a doubles team again!
Great shot. My son and his friends play a different version of ping pong, it's called sting pong.... when a player loses a game, the winner gets a free shot at the loser (this is usually done in summer when they are only wearing board shorts) the loser comes away with a big circular welt on his skin if the winner is a good shot. Apparently that is fun for teenagers!
