My U13 cricket team won their league yesterday to add to the County Cup final that they reached as well.
They had to win their game and hope that our nearest rivals lost, which is precisely what happened. Ben is in the team and is so happy that he is part of the team that won the league. Yesterday he bowled 3 overs for 1 run and shared in a partnership of 20 at the end of our innings.
I am very proud of all the lads, they are a smashing bunch of kids and I am proud to count them as my friends.
Then in the afternoon, Sam played at one of the most idyllic cricket grounds in the country at Newtown Linford. Here is a view of the ground.
