Twenty Six

The photographs of @rvwalker on his blog make Newtown and Sandy Hook seem an idyllic place, a safe place, a peaceful place.

What horror was unleashed upon it yesterday. My heart is grieving for the children and adults who lost their lives in Sandy Hook yesterday and my family wish the families and wider community the strength that they will need to deal with this needless tragedy. We fear that it will take many generations to heal the pain.

Here in the UK, the special affection that we have for America and its people has been strengthened, and most if not all British people stand shoulder to shoulder with you in grief, our heads are bowed, our hearts are broken.
Thank you Sean.
