Another shot of the Power Station from last week, when the storm clouds passed over.
Processed in Silver Exex Pro with the clouds accentuated and sky darkened.
Colour version in my second album.
The weather here is so dull at the moment, making landscape work so difficult, but I am in London again on thursday so have an hour or so set aside for my camera!
Us Brits are famous the world over for complaining about the weather. We are very lucky though, we never really get the extremes of weather that other parts of the world get. My heart goes out to the people of Oklahoma who have been so devastated by the tornadoes of the last 24 hours. You are in my thoughts.
You need to frame or mount some of these power station photos Sean, or get a local gallery/library to allow you to exhibit some, they are awesomely good! fav
@ozziehoffy@wadazomo Thanks Cass. Not at all Dave, I am sure that I speak for all us Brits in saying how awful a tragedy it is, and send our best wishes for all those affected.
Really like this format with the mass of black sky above the dramatic clouds. It so clearly demonstrates the forces of nature. I too share your sentiments about the tragic loss of life in Oklahoma.
Wow, the Silver Efex is really darmatic...in skilled hands, super image!

The black sky really sets this off. I appreciate your comments about Oklahoma. You have always been compassionate about our frequent American tragedies.
Amazing dramatic b&w, great processing! For the briefest moment my brain went to Chernobyl, but I told it to get back here this instant. What an incredible landscape you've captured here. I like the colour version too, but I love this one for its intensity.
Wow what a sky... it's been doing bonkers things today too but you're right, nothing on the extremes elsewhere. (I did think reports of snow in May were a little bizarre though even for the UK)
Fav for your shot.
The pictures from Oklahoma are pretty terrifying. :(
I like the way the arc of light of the rainbow cuts through the dark cloud.
