Great shot...and nice to see a scene close to me....I live near melbourne. I've always thought these would make a good photo opportunity and this close up works really well.

Magnificent......! I actually think I do have some power station shots in my archives from last year... am going to have a dig out and re-edit I think, you've inspired me.

Such a strong image Sean. Love the steam .. it completes the story and contrasts so well against both towers and sky ... in short makes the shot!

Wonderful... I like how close you got!

Another super, gritty industrial image in mono - fav! Love it!
May 29th, 2013
Sean - do you convert to B&W from colour? What software do you use - in other words, how do you create these wonderful mono images?!
May 29th, 2013
Very powerful images once again Sean.
May 29th, 2013
beautiful again!

@ivan Cheers Ivan, can I ask you to hit the old Fav button a bit harder. I do convert from colour to B+W using Silver Efex Pro as a specialist B+W photoshop plug in. That said, I do try and think in B+W when I take a shot and look for shots with strong contrasts. Thanks for such a reat, very flattering comment.

@seanoneill Sorry! Very tactful, done! Thanks also for the useful and interesting information. You achieve very effective and pleasing results!
May 29th, 2013
@ivan Thanks Ivan. I would say to anyone who has B+W aspirations, buy Silver Efex Pro before you think about buying a new lens or a decent tripod.

@seanoneill Thanks again Sean.
