Foxton Locks ~ 1 by seanoneill

Foxton Locks ~ 1

Rebecca and I took a trip down to Foxton Locks in south Leicestershire earlier today.

It is a flight of ten locks on the Grand Union Canal.

Given that canals were a product of the industrial revolution, maybe this is how they would have looked back then.

More photos later after we've been to see my nephew Matthew to wish him a happy 13th birthday, and then onto cricket practise.

Tomorrow is catch up day, when I hope to catch up with as many of you as possible.
Great shot and nicely processed. It looks like an old postcard.

Fabulous image and processing - looks vintage. Went up Foxton Flight on a canal holiday many years ago and have great memories of that. A fav for me.
