Great POV! I love the angles, the combination of bridge and nature (and sky) -- the textures/lines/shading -- everything about it. Fav!
PS While driving from Buffalo to Niagra Falls, we went under this amazing set of bridges and then by a huge oil refinery or something along those lines. I actually said to my hosts that there is a photographer named Sean in England who would love this area! I kept seeing shots I knew you would take beautifully. I tried a bridge and may post it sometime.
@gailmmeek Thank you Gail, that is so kind of you, echoes what I said earlier. Doubt I will be in Brum now until September though. I would love to wander around Gas St Basin and the Bull Ring, it has long been on my list, will let you know when i finally get there. This site might provide some inspiration for you. http://archive.imagesofbirmingham.co.uk/gallery-list
@taffy Thanks so much Taffy, that is very generous of you to have thought of me. American industry has a style all of its own, and I would love to get the chance to photograph it. TBH, I wish I had the time and money for a 6 month road trip across the USA and Canada, that is my dream!! Thanks for the Fav, I look forward to seeing your bridge shots, very much so!!
I absolutely love this one. You are a master of b/w. The composition is exquisite - the low perspective making the grass as prominent as the sky and bridge. Are those poppies? My fav flower. The textures flow incredibly together.
