Mere Hill Spinney by seanoneill

Mere Hill Spinney

A manic weekend when I didn't pick my camera up once, so here is an archive shot of Mere Hill Spinney from late May.

Glorious weather here, but too busy rushing round in it! We did enjoy alovely evening wioth friends in our garden last night, BBQ and beers!!

I am starting to wonder if my time here is up. I am struggling to find time to comment, and am not finding time to take shots as often as I want. I think I will persevere until we go on holiday, then, I know I will get lots of opportunities. Will see how I feel at the end of the summer then.
Oh dear Sean I will miss you if you go but I struggle sometimes & I am at home all day so I really feel for you working folk. Why don't you just put a couple of shots up when you have time/ i notice @phil_howcroft has posted tonight & he only does it when he has time.
Pretty floaty clouds over that wood...love the word spinney!

Love it and can totally sympathise with the time constraints sean. I haven't had much time because of work but I haven't done my 100%. Are you on Flickr as I'm making quite a lot of contacts through there and will definately migrate more there as I don't feel the same pressure. Beautiful dark sky and love the composition

I really like this Sean, it has an infra-red look to it.

Stick with it pal, I'm struggling to find time to comment too, feels like I'm juggling plates all the time but the site does give me a boost when I do find the time and I'm sure it will be the same for you....and it would be a shame to lose you :)

Don't go! You don't need to post and comment every day - just do as much as you feel you have time for. I say this totally selfishly because I find your shots quite inspiring.

Beautiful, please don't go just because you can't find the time to comment at the moment. We will miss you :D

Keep at it, Sean. Just do what you can when you can...are you on FB?
July 8th, 2013
@amandal No, I don't do FB. Not a fan of it I'm afraid. I see the addiction that people have to it, including my own son, and the name calling etc, and it isn't for me.

@seanoneill 365 is worse for me. No name calling...just the time. I get in trouble...

I really like this and would be happy to look at your archive shots everyday - hope you continue with 365 -

I agree with @tabbycat in that it looks like Ayers rock. I hear you re commenting. I only get to comment about once a week now, and ahve accepted that I get less comments and views in return. But I enjoy the photo taking process and the daily posting of either daily shots or fillers, and so for now, that's what I'll continue with. Just do your own thing. People understand the limited time for comments.
