Wow! This is a truly amazing shot even by your very high standards, Sean! Unbelievable! I see it printed LARGE, VERY LARGE and hanging in a gallery! FAV x 100!
@seanoneill Sean, I am sorry I forgot to click on Fav for this one. I'm glad it made it to PP anyway. Was there really a full moon when you took it? (Full moon 2nd and 31st August) I can only see an upload date in the EXIF. I have checked the alignment and you were facing slightly south of east so that fits! I'm not trying to catch you out - it's an amazing piece of work however you achieved it ! Just interested( and slightly jealous) that's all! :-)
@yrhenwr You got me bang to rights David. This is a creation made in my study using the original shot. I added the moon to the original shot and then created a flipped version for the reflection that I lowered the opacity of and then merged the two!
@seanoneill You made a brilliant job of it Sean, whatever the means! I couldn't do that. ( I guess also that the moon would not appear quite so large if you had used your 10mm wide angle?)
@yrhenwr That was the clue I tried to leave....Thanks as well. Not the usual thing for me to do, but I wanted to do something special for this extraordinary piece of European political history.
