Remembrance

This weekend we remember those who have given their lives to protect us. Tomorrow, my son Sam will join his Combined Cadet Force contingent in marching from Loughborough Grammar School to Queen's Park,, where our town's service of remembrance takes place.

I photographed this at Bovington Tank Museum while on holiday recently, with the intention of posting it today. It is the centre piece of a memorial to those who have lost their lives serving in the Household Cavalry and Royal Armoured Corps since 1945.

I need say no more.
You don't have to say nothing sean we will all remember...... You will be very proud of Sam marching tomorrow...... Great pic

Always a sad day and compounded by the dreadful images from the Philippines. Tragic.
