For those of you who are aware of the last couple of days for my family, I am sure that you will forgive a filler from a couple of weeks back.
We have truly been up the mountain and back in the last 2 days, without reaching the top.
Ben's op was cancelled, and we now have to wait 3 or 4 weeks, but for good reasons, so we take it with good grace. Ben remains an inspiration to me with his stoicism, he is my hero.
I am humbled by your messages of support. They do help. Thank you.
This shot was taken with the sun behind me looking into the mist, and in the far right you can see steam from Ratcliffe Power Station.
Sorry to hear about the delay for the op.
Super picture. One can either think of these majestic structures as a blot on the landscape or one can make the most of them - as you have here!
Sean, I'm so sorry, I seem to have missed some of your photos recently and not sure what Ben's operation entails. I do hope the wait in the next few weeks is not too stressful and that he makes a good recovery afterwards.
Instant FAV! I love that you can see the little tiny trees on the horizon through the mist, wow! Fabulous processing of this dramatic sky.
I m so sorry to hear about the op delay, yet hope that it's all for the best.
It's like seeing through the mist, despite the difficulty of overcast...then believing and having faith that things will be okay! You al are in my thoughts.
So sorry to hear about your son. That is so hard when that happens and you all have to go through the lead up again. Sending prayers for Ben.
Great B&W image.
Sorry to hear about Ben's delay, and can't imagine the tension on your entire family. I like the positioning of the major elements of sky and towers in this image.
Really like the composition here Sean and your processing has really brought out the details and enhanced the sky really well.
Glad to hear that Ben is bearing up well.
