Cheddleton Station ~ 1 by seanoneill

Cheddleton Station ~ 1

One of those manic days that life throws at us every now and again!

Over to Cheddleton this morning to collect the first batches of my brewery's new bottled lager and cider. Then back to Loughborough to deliver some and collect more beer from the farm for an event this evening. Now I am home and straight to my office to prepare for a talk I am giving tonight to 50 people at a Beer and Tapas evening at a customer of mine in Loughborough, where our new Lager will be offically launched. It is called Luffbrau, do you see what I did there?

I took 2 minutes (I know you can tell!!) to pop to Cheddleton Steam Railway Station to take a few photos. This view caught my eye because of the forms and shapes. The colour version has a nice contrast of colour and is in my second album.

I will sign off by thanking all who supported my New Brighton Lighthouse series. The first shot has made the T20, so I am chuffed, not least because it is week 200 of the Top Twenty. That sort of thing matters to blokes!!
Great composition here. I like all the shapes and angles in this shot!

Love the texture in this one, but I think I prefer the color on this shot.

A busy man & a brave one talking in public. I have looked at the colour version & I prefer that one I think,

Oh the sign put a big smile on my face. Spent many a happy hour in Scarborough and Filey. :)
Good luck with your talk.

Great mono composition, Sean

I commented in our other group, but what struck me in the color version was the potential for sc here -- the reds. First I thought to keep the poster in color too, but then thought it really doesn't matter what it's advertising.

I like the tones better in the B&W, especially in the lighter part of the wall. I don't think the scraggly flowers added much, so losing their color doesn't matter.

The sign "Scarborough" with the scratched/scraped walls takes my notice
