The unknown artist

Taken in London last week on a visit to Tate Modern.

The statue is a memorial to the unknown artist. On the plinth it says in Latin "Do not applaud, throw money!"

The statue used to be animatronic and mimic the movements of anyone near it. It appears to be broken now!
