Tate Modern ~ 2 by seanoneill

Tate Modern ~ 2

Tate Modern is built in the carcass of the old Bankside Power Station in London, and the main entrance is through the old Turbine Hall.

You are able to get a raised view of the entrance from a first floor gallery, which really gives you a sense of scale for the old building.

Here is a pinhole processing of a shot from the gallery looking up towards the entrance.
Love how they are singled out here. Very dramatic image.

FAV. Well done. Your b&w always amaze me and leave me afraid of them. If not done well they really stand out for me - as yours do in the best way

Great perspective, overwhelming feeling of space, like a cavern. Those people are dwarfed. Great shot.

I like that the top half is hard and geometrical with the square and oblong, and the bottom soft and spherical, great image of a great industrial building
