Hahaha I left my husband too for a holiday last week, he's quite skilled in the laundry arts but putting the chooks away each night was apparently not on the agenda (=no eggs, chook poo everywhere) :)
This is a really great shot. I have a house full of musical instruments and I know they will make great photography subjects if I can manage to do it right. Love this.
Beautiful lighting. My hopes and prayers concerning the washing are with you. Dianne doesn't allow me due to my 'survival of the fittest' approach. Throw everything in, don't sort. Have temperature on 60 degrees Celcius. Occasionally something dies, but I regard that as collateral damage. Worked fine for me in my single years.
Already made a choice for a univerity?
@hjv I appear to have fulfilled the brief, all is ok! I think Sam is set on Exeter University, but he has a lot of hard work ahead of him if he is to get there.
I like this vintage looking guitar and the vintage looking photograph of it. I'm learning power chords now on my son's Les Paul. It is slow going as I don't take to the guitar as I take to the camera - lol. Thank you for the very kind words on 3 Amigos, they are much apprecited!
For no very good reason (other than the subject matter) now that I come to revise, this puts me in mind of Braque's work.
Another very cool abstraction of Sam's 18th birthday present. Love the lines, shapes and composition. And the tones. Would love this on a wall.
Have you given Sam the chance to play his guitar yet? ;-)
