Shot near an unnamed Power Station recently while an astronomical event involving the moon and the sun was taking place.
While I was firing off a few shots a message came over a tannoy to tell me that my actions were being recorded and I was in a restricted area.
I have also heard lately of a photographer being questioned by Special Branch (The Feds to you non Brits) who asked him why he taking photos, why he was in his wife's car rather than his own, told to stop and then escorted to the county border!
You are not a terrorist as well are you. ??
I was accused of that by an irate security guard who must have had to drive 3/4s of a mile to get to me.
My crime ?
Being on a public road, on a hill, over looking a large river estuary near me, taking photos of the sunset using a WIDE ANGLED LENS.
His factory was so far away, and at the bottom of the hill it was not even in shot.
Plus I was in my work vehicle, Sean, which as you know is so easily spotted as a local vehicle.
I just ignored him and continued clicking. ( changed that from shooting, lol).
Great B&W as well.
They just love these troubled, fearful times don't they Sean? I must try that though because it will help me find out if I really am invisible! Excellent shot of these well known cooling towers. So well composed, lit and processed. Nice to see them again. Fav!
@markp Sad, funny, disturbing... they must lead such stressful lives seeing everyone who doesn't walk around looking at their feet as a terrorist. Still, the whole business creates work, so I shouldn't knock it!
And you a pillar of the local community! As you know, I love your shots of these landmarks, making something ugly very beautiful. Happy Easter to you all.
