Aqualegias by seanoneill

Aqualegias

Very little time for Photography at the moment, due to rather extreme business commitments. I fear I may have bitten off rather more than I can chew!!

Here is a shot I have been playing about with of some rather lovely Aqualegias in my garden. This time last year we were at the Chelsea Flower Show, where did that year go?!

In other news, I'm in the last stages of buying a property that hasn't been touched for 15 years, so is in a terrible state! A major renovation project awaits if all goes through!! The boys are well into their exams, and working very hard.

Can't wait for Eurovision at the weekend, the UK entry is fantastic, but we will finish closer to the bottom than the top. It is part of the fun, when the voting starts all the allegiances and rivalries in Europe surface, and Graham Norton's commentary is worth the licence fee as well!
I really love this year's entry too and I don't often say that about Eurovision. It has all become a bit too political for my liking but it does make for an entertaining evening. Perhaps the Australian will win this year ;) Lovely detail here Sean, take time out from the madness to get some photographic therapy, even if you don't have time for all the commenting malarky!!! Good luck to the boys with their exams, I'm sure they will do themselves proud.

@paulaw Thanks Paula, I am sure my boys will achieve their potential. My working days are often 18 hours long nowadays, I am not even sure Iknow where my camera is!

You are a Eurovision fan too......I liked Terry but Graham has more than risen to the occasion! I love the rhythm of this years ...a sort of speak easy feel to it. I hope you will document the progress of your progect! We have just had the builders photos,
all 113 of them of Ant & Jo's new build in NZ ...fascinating see it grow! Lovely soft photo.

Beautiful, I love how you have processed this. Fav. Where is the renovation project, how exciting. We have just finished our overhaul of the old hsbc in melbourne, the real ale pub at the bottom is thriving.

I'm claiming a Eurovision win today Sean, decked in my fav blue and yellow shirt, as our eldest is now married to a Swedish girl and lives over there in Karlskrona.
Hope all goes well with the house. Oh, and the photo is really good too, soft & gentle, great tones.

Hey Sean! A rare pop in to 365 for me tonight just to see if a few of me old mates are still kicking on here. Great to see you're still churning out your super b&ws and some locomotives in there too! All the best with the new property. Sounds exciting! Oh and beautiful soft shot of the aqualegias - whatever they are - not a flower we see here at all :-)
