Happy October! by seattle

Happy October!

We have glass pumpkins in the city! This is in front of Seattle Glassblowing Studio on 5th Avenue.

These pumpkins are amazing! I've been to an exhibit and got to see hundreds of these by various artists. I was simply in awe.

Isn't that just wonderful! Thanks for the reminder that I have three tucked away that could decorate my "holiday room" ! I love that we share a similar story about our homes. Could be the reason couples my age look to downsize...

Thanks for the recent comment. The shot is actually of him jumping off my camera bag onto a futon/pillows in our guest room. He's not allowed to jump on the furniture, but we folded down this futon for a house guest to sleep on and he simply couldn't resist. I told him he could have a "special treat" just tonight. He had a blast. :)

Wow, that's amazing, I had to look at it several times to figure it out

I like that idea...much easier than finding a spot for a huge fish (Richmond) or a buffalo statue (Buffalo:-)...know there are all sorts of theme statues in various cities but at least you can easily find a spot for these pumpkins.

These are beautiful!! I've always wanted to learn how to do this--I'm such a klutz when it comes to glass though, it would probably be a disaster!
