Protest Meeting After The Inquest into the Shooting Of John T. Williams By A Seattle Officer
Saw this on the street on my way back home...
King County Prosecutor's Office
The inquest into the death of John T. Williams has been completed. The inquest jury has answered the interrogatories examining the facts surrounding the death of John T. Williams on August 30, 2010. With the inquest now completed, the King County Prosecutor's Office will conduct an independent review of the evidence brought forth during the inquest and will consider the findings of the jury to determine whether or not criminal charges are warranted against Seattle Police Officer Ian Birk. Prosecutors expect to finish this review in mid-February.
Saw this on the news when I got home, but somehow missed it in person. I've been following the story in the paper fairly closely and find this inquest to be an interesting process.
Good capture but I will not judge...so many things involved in cases like this...often the media paints a less that honest account by omitting some details and emphasizing other ones...we see it every day in politics.
It i ssad when things like this happen, and it is always a difficult process when they try to find out all the details. Hopefully they will make the necessary inquiries and bring a just end to this heartache.
@byrdlip hi, i agree with that, no winners here. And no offence intended towards anybody.
In a democracy, an honest and transperant inquiry reassures and reinstalls faith in the system, that's what i mean.

This is a perfectly vivid night shot with your new Leica, Constance.
