New neighbors, a young couple, moved into a corner house a block north of my house. Another neighbor who lives closer to the new neighbors explained that the new neighbors have a new puppy that they keep in their fenced yard while at work. The neighbor went on to tell me that the puppy who is either a full pit or a pit bull mix had chewed all of the outdoor patio cushions while the owners were at work and the remnants were strewn all over the yard. So here is the pit bull pup behind the fence :) looking quite innocent and being playful while I took his or her photo. Thanks for stopping by.
Awww - pits can be good dogs but they seem to have a negative reputation - this poor pup needs some attention and a walk to use up that puppy energy - nice capture.
Ah the poor wee thing. The cushions paid the ultimate price for his lonliness and search for stimulation. I hope he gets plenty of love and attention when the owners are home in the evening and at the weekend.
I wonder how long the fencing will last when he's grown - dogs can be very destructive. I had a beautiful little mongrel years ago who had three daily walks but still wrecked the house through boredom whilst I was at work. She was quite small but gained the nickname of Fang ...
@maggiemae I think its fad to own a pit bull. This breed takes extra control and needs to know that you are the boss. Many owners are ignorant and cavalier in caring for and training this breed (any breed) which creates problems.
Yes...poor puppy! Dogs need companionship, especially when a puppy before it gets a bunch of bad habits. Puppy training, exercise and attention. Hard when both are at work all day! Sad.
Beautiful capture. Love the wood grain and the almost hidden dog. My son has a pitbull (mix probably). He is very very strong and is so playful that I get frightened when he comes over to greet me. I keep back until he obeys my command to sit. Then he turns on his back and lets me stroke his chest and belly.
