Smokey Candid

This smokey candid shot was taken three days ago at Lowman Beach while looking north. Today, 9/27/2020 at 7:15 am, it looks like the wildfire smoke is moving. The sky looks like it has a layer of smoke, clouds. Anyway, we are all praying for rain and wind to clear the smoke out. Thanks for stopping by.
Such an interesting shot and great pov and It sure does look like a lot of smoke there. Sad.

It's a neat pov - that smoke is awful. Can't imagine even going out to take a picture. Sure hope you get the rain and wind to move it on.

A super candid shot. I do hope the smoke disperses soon and that the fires are extinguished.

Lovely capture ...

Awesome focus and DOF... it is a bit eerie... I wish you all had some of the rain we are getting as a spin off from Hurricane Sally... that would help clear the air.

It does look dreadful... makes you wonder how and where it's all going to end.

@vignouse WA State is a one-party rule state. The egregious negligence of WA State's so-called leaders' lack of policies for forest management and law and order resulted in several tragic incidents that put citizens lives in danger and tragically took the lives of citizens. One can only hope that after the wildfires, riots, looting, arson that have plagued WA State, citizens will want responsible, common sense, logical thinking leadership in the future.

Must be uncomfortable to have to breath that air, here's hoping it soon clears up. A good diary shot.

@seattlite Sounds dreadful... we're all going to hell in a handcart I fear.

It must be horrible having all that smoke in the air. I hope it clears very soon

Great shot, but it does look eerie.
September 18th, 2020
I just can’t imagine ! Wish this was just fog —NOT smoke -hope you are safe

Looks just like here! I really want the smoke to leave! I've been staying inside for days and I hate it.

It's all so heartbreaking! So many photos look like "cool, foggy day" images, but such is a pity that it's not. I do look at all that wonderful drift wood and think "art projects"..but then again, the loss of animals and trees, people and their homes leaves me with empty spaces in my brain...

Lovely capture and composition. Hope it clears very quickly for you and all those effected.
September 18th, 2020
I very much hope that everything will turn out well. A world in which everyone can breathe freely.

What a dreadful time to go through with all that harmful smoke in the air! I hope it’s much clearer by now.
September 18th, 2020
Love the shot.
Is the smoke because of the wildfires?
September 18th, 2020
@lilh Yes it is.
