River Darent

21 - 30 Days Wild

This is part of the River Darent that runs through Shoreham, Kent. It's a beautiful spot and this morning we spent time walking alongside the river until we needed to turn and come back. Years ago I home educated my eldest daughter and took her (and the younger ones) on a geography field trip studying how this river changes along its course. It was a fab day out and this was the first time I've returned to look at the river here. This time however we didnt wear our wellies or wade into the water to measure its speed etc. I wonder if the family in the photo were out on a field trip or just enjoying seeing the hundreds of tadpoles and tiny fish.
Lovely Summery image.

I remember going here with you during my geography gcse! I'd love to go back at some point; maybe when I've got my new car!
