Rosette

25 - 30 Days Wild

Another photo from the garden today after some watering. It's really too hot to go far. I'm not sure what this succulent plant is called but I've had them in the garden for years and never seen them grow so large. I've only seen them flower once before too so it will be nice to see some blooms again given the hot weather. Oh yes, and we fondly call them rosettes!
Very nice

Echeveria perhaps? Beautiful whatever its name!

It is beautiful ! I had thought to photograph my succulents today too but am now rethinking because this is so good!

@casablanca Thank you for the info - it certainly looks like these are Echeveria. All these years and I've never looked it up. We just call them the rosette plants. It also seems they can grow quite a bit bigger if the conditions are right. Mine are about palm size. I always think extremely large succulents are a bit triffid-like and scary 😆

@bkbinthecity @kaylynn2150 Thank you for taking a look-it really encourages me to keep taking a photo each day. It's been so hot today that I think I'm wilting faster than the garden! 🙂

@grammyn Gosh please do photograph your plants. I'd love to see them. I feel that taking photos is an adventure - you never quite know what you'll end up with- I'm certainly not a "photographer", just snapping pictures as a hobby. I only use my phone and never really knew how the camera worked until a few months ago. 😀

@serendypyty Well I did go out and get a couple of decent shots of my succulents but opted for one that wouldn't still be there tomorrow instead.

You have captured so many details and they are tack sharp. Well done.
