Each year I like to harvest some of the wisteria seeds. The longest pod here is about 10 inches and had an impressive 5 seeds inside but normally there's only 2 or 3 seeds in each.
I thought about the seed pod I photographed in my front yard a few days ago during our first frost... it is not yet open. Nice POV here and I like the paper towel as background.
@jb030958 I give most of them away but they're so easy to grow. The problem is that they can take up to 7 years before they flower. Good for covering unsightly walls and fences though.
@kvphoto I opened these with a knife as they were ripe enough to pick. The seeds are really pretty when fresh but soon go dull and flat as they dry out.
