From Above

I think this is the first day that I almost forgot to take a photo. I've been busy watercolour painting and then I sat at the computer to work and suddenly remembered. This lamp is on my desk and is totally useless for lighting the area due to it's red tones and the patterns it throws but it's very pretty and pleasing so it has remained in the corner.

There's an entire photo study in that lamp. The shade, the light it throws...especially if you were to use different color bulbs...I bet a yellow one would be interesting.

@timerskine It would never have occurred to me to change the colour of the bulb. I may well do that sometime and see what effects I get. I'll also dust the inside of it. I was horrified when I zoomed in .....😂
