part of the tunnel system at Hanger Lane tube station - it's confusing and challenging going off in different directions from the central circular hub just outside the station, the bit you can see as you drive past. It's at the junction of the North Circular and a whole lot more main arterial routes into London and the Hanger Lane gyratory system surrounds it.
There for a meeting on Thursday 11 September
Thank you for looking and your lovely comments. You're all so supportive. I try to thank you by looking at your pictures rather than individually here.
Great curves Shanne and pattern on the walls. I noticed you said you'd surveyed bats at Cressing Temple. Are you interested in them . If you are my sister @kelly2 has bats roosting in her house in Cornwall (I think you follow her)
I've never used this tube station but I've spent lots of time stationary in the near vicinity! The decor looks rather attractive - is it another one of the art-deco station designs?
You make tubes, tunnels etc look so interesting. How did you manage not to have people in this! Yes i do have bats in my roof space @ceilidh 2 sorts its a nursery roost so we don't use the roof space for anything which means all the clutter is in the house
@kelly2 there is someone in shot - right at the end of the tunnel - and it was the time of day I was there - these outlying tubes aren't that full in the middle of the day, packed in the early morning and evening, but not then. It's also quite an industrial area. I do have other shots from those tunnels with people in, and people blur, because I went through this station twice, there and back. I just liked this one best. Sometimes there are a lot of people in the shot, but because I've taken a very long exposure shot, all you've got is blurs.
